Welcome to Haven Triangle!

Hi! I’m happy you’re here.

You either get massage regularly or are curious about it. There is nothing more important than making time to care for yourself. Haven is your place to lay your burdens down for a moment, let go of unwanted tension, and find peace in the present moment under our skilled and compassionate hands.

If you can’t make it in right away, there are many ways you can let go and access the power of the present moment:

  • Move to music of any kind—take a Nia or Ageless Grace class with me!

  • Mindfully move with Yoga or Tai Chi

  • Meditate

  • Create something! Draw, scribble, arrange flowers. . .

  • Do a jigsaw puzzle

  • Get outside and connect with nature.

That last suggestion is of particular importance in the creation of Haven Triangle.

While in massage school I liked to wander and journal at the Botanical Gardens in Chapel Hill—before or after class—to reflect or wind down. After graduating, I learned Tai Chi to improve my ergonomics and move from my center to save my hands from overuse.

One of my favorite spots to practice Tai Chi was along the Eno River in Durham. And now, here in Raleigh, whenever I feel disconnected, I can go for a quick hike in Schenck Forest or Umstead State Park to quiet my mind.

I hope massage at Haven can help you release stress and reconnect your mind, body, and spirit. Hey, look at that, another triangle!
